Refuge Farms
The Refuge Farms are a vital part of the City of Refuge Champions Home Ministries. They were created to provide food security, promote sustainability, and serve as a steady source of income to support the ministry’s ongoing work.
The farms began with a simple belief that faith should not only feed the spirit but also meet the physical needs of the people. On the land near Bellemu in Bong County, God has blessed the ministry with fertile soil that now produces a variety of crops and supports several agricultural projects.
Over the years, the farms have grown to include rubber, swamp rice with fish ponds, piggery, and palm plantations. Each area of farming contributes to the ministry’s goal of becoming self-sufficient while also helping local families gain access to food and employment.
The produce from Refuge Farms helps sustain the Children’s Home and the Hidden Eye College and provides opportunities for young people to learn about agriculture as a pathway to independence. The farms stand as a reminder that God provides for His people in every way, both spiritually and physically.
The vision remains clear: to achieve food security, create lasting sustainability, and resource others through the work of willing hands and faithful hearts. Through every season of planting and harvest, Refuge Farms continues to demonstrate that the work of God can grow strong roots when it is planted in faith.
